Come out to Jive tonight on this luckiest of Friday the 13ths and see us supporting a great band The Salvadors, along with East End Villains. And if you can’t make that, then come out tomorrow night to the Grace Emily where we are supporting We Grow Up, who are releasing their long-awaited double single “Goodness Gracious! and The Flowers”. And if that’s not incentive enough, then come out just to wish our lovely Paddy AND Gareth a happy birthday each! Paddy will buy you a drink.

We Grow Up release their anticipated double single, Goodness Gracious! and The Flowers at the Grace Emily on the 14th of August with The British Robots, as well as having a double acoustic set on the 7th.

We are currently hard at work, sending our EP out for reviews, writing and learning new songs which we hope you will all enjoy. We’ve been exploring some new and wonderful Nord sounds, and bringing together all of our material to make some new Robots magic. Stay tuned for upcoming shows
In other news we have been getting into listening to vinyls, which has been fun. We are finding new things to love about old favourite songs, and discovering awesome gems along the way, like Rodriguez for Mark and Zoe, or for me it was that last track off The Beatles Rubber Soul, ‘Run For Your Life’, and The Supremes ‘My World Is Empty Without You’. I love discovering new songs.

Come down to The Gov this Thursday night for a beer, some yarns, and some lovely acoustic ditty. We will be dusting off some of our instruments (like Mark’s lovely Gibson and Casey’s newly restrung Hofner bass), and enjoying the maiden voyage of Zoe’s beautiful new Nord.

Hey, I have to admit, I didn’t think I’d say this, But thank you so much everyone who came out to see us on Saturday, I had a really good time, especially thanks to the freestyle synchronised Karate dancing guy. If I hade locks on every door in my house, I would totally take him home for keeps.
